The management of TRP Construction understands the importance of environmental preservation, as per our Environmental Protection Policy Statement, and therefore, has taken the initiative to become educated.

CaGBC:
LEED for Construction

The LEED for Construction course is a half-day course delivered by the Canada Green Building Council designed to introduce the LEED rating system and sustainable design issues that affect general and trade contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers. It provides tips on construction waste management, commissioning green buildings, managing a sustainable construction site, and what materials to choose and why. The course provides information on the role of builders in obtaining LEED points, and the opportunities it creates for your business.

LEED Canada NC – Technical Review Workshop
Understanding LEED-NC is an important step towards reducing environmental impacts and achieving superior economic performance in buildings. This one-day workshop delivered by the Canada Green Building Council provides a technical overview of the LEED Canada-NC 1.0, in preparation for the certification exam.

  • stormwater runoff control
  • air quality control and use of low-emitting materials
  • protect green space and preserve habitat/natural resources
  • participate in the reduction of waste through re-use/recycling of building materials

  • provide LEED team members with written documentation
